I was fortunate to dep with the Swamp Cats on the 30th of March in Maldon at the Beat Route, which allowed me the chance to witness you guys up close. I just wanted to say (again) that I was completely blown away by the musicianship, presence and power of all that I saw and heard. More importantly, I think, was the way I was moved by the soul and emotion in your music.... it's something that's sadly lacking so often nowadays. Really enjoyed the High Barn gig on Friday. Didn't know I was coming until 7pm when my brother in law phoned to say he had a spare ticket. Its my second visit to the barn, what a venue!! and the sound system brought out all the subtleties of Ben's acoustic slide playing!! More seriously, as a committee member of the Parents Association of the local primary school, I am considering recommending to the members and head teacher that the school engage yourselves for a workshop session. My older children attend nearby Brentwood County High. perhaps workshops at both schools on consecutive days may be viable?? Jeff Rich the ex Quo drummer did exactly the same thing recently. Would that be worth looking into? Regards

I saw you at Dartford Folk Club on 5th December. It was a wonderful show. I love the very refined arrangements and the variety of tone and musical texture. Exceptional songs too. I also liked the way you cared about your stage appearance. Very professional. (Ben's body movement and facial expressions during playing add to the show.) My only regret is that I bought only two of the CDs. I will have to complete the collection. By the way, I don't think you played "Angel of Blue". You should have - it is a wonderful song (reminds me a bit of the Horseflies style). But the other songs are great too. Ben is not just an excellent guitarist but he has a marvellous voice and great control over it. In fact, all three of you are great. I hope you'll be back in Dartford or in London soon.

Hi Ben, Katie, the band. Just a quick note from your greatest admirer, friend and former bassist (greatest former bassist????!!!). Ben, I think of you often and am watching your career grow with admiration, fond memories and just a hint of envy. I am so glad you seem to be getting to where you've always wanted and deserved to be. Your vision and determination will always be an inspiration to me. And your current (and i guess finally, stable) lineup is INCREDIBLE. Constance has groove and a voice and even looks to die for (Her name reflects her bass playing). Maurice is a master and seems incredibly cool both on camera and on record. Your new Mp3's sound great, and it seems you are finally getting the kind of gigs you should be playing. I have downloaded your screensaver in my classroom and it is an inspiration to my students and to me. I only wish you could come to Vermont and do a workshop/concert in our theater, though I'm sure it's out of the question. Well, met this wonderful band at Premier blues weekend @ Littlecote the other week, and enjoyed every moment of the performance. The new CD is simply brilliant and in my opinion one of the best blues releases this year. The cover of the old Stones song is just wonderful the guitar work great. Chatting to the band proves to be interesting as well as very helpful,especially as I had a question concerning slide guitar tuning. You're a fine, fine band as your performance in Ponty proved on Friday night. On behalf of those of us who bothered to listen (and there were quite a few of us) apologies for the poor order that you received for much of the evening. We do try to bring as diverse a range of musical genres to the venue as possible but can't always attract a "discerning" audience if you know what I mean. Not exactly a review but a real enthuisiastic comment! I just had the pleasure of seeing the band play in my home 'town' of Manningtree Essex and bluntly they were brilliant. The performance was the most musically complex, whilst appearing relaxed and straightforward, that I have had the pleasure of enjoying. The atmosphere created and the range of styles and sounds were almost unbelievable. Terve! Your gig last night (01.04.05) in Helsinki was awesome! The sense of atmosphere during the performance was so inspiring that in the end of the concert I got a feeling that I had to get off the train prematurely. Wow, I'm so happy so have found this wonderful website. A lot of people always wondered what happened to Constance after she left Christian Death. It's good to see she has continued her musical career and is still performing. I've a video of her while she was on a TV programme called Media Blitz with Christian Death in 1983, great footage and Catastrophe Ballet remains still my favourite album of all time. It's timeless. I'll definately look out the Spikedrivers cds when I return from LA in a few weeks (I'm over visiting for the 7th anniversary of Rozz's death), and hope to see Snakedrivers in a venue in Scotland soon!!

Saw the band for the first time last Friday at The Shed in Bedford and was mightily impressed. As a bass player myself I have to say Constance is wondrous, and the arrangements are fabulous. Yes it works!! Saw you guys at Bridgnorth FF and loved the set, bought last two CD's and they are still by the cd player and not filed but played...regularly!! Your stuff fired up my blues purchases through the rest of the year, so thanks for that too!! Looking forward to the compilation and the new stuff. Hopefully we'll see you in 05.
